Large 2-screw replacement handle for vintage Revere Ware pans

These are large sized replacement handles for vintage era Revere Ware pans. These parts are new and are made to look and work just like original Revere Ware handles. Material: Bakelite, stainless steel Includes: Two handle halves and hardware set Measurements: 5.25 inch (130 mm) long, 3.1 inch (79 mm) between holes on center, fits a 3/4 inch metal spline. How to fit: To determine the proper size handle make sure your sauce pan or skillet has a 3/4 inch tall metal spline, and has approximately 3.1 inches between the centers of the screw holes. If you have a 3/4" spline and 3.7" between the centers of the holes, you need the xtra large handle. For a 5/8" spline, you need the medium handle, and a 3/8" spline height, the small handle. Possibly fits: Vintage era 7 inch pans, 8 inch skillets, 9 inch square skillets. These fit Revere Ware pans with handles that have two screws through the Bakelite. Hardware Notes The screws in the hardware set are Phillips head, not slotted like the original Revere Ware screw sets were. Because the original slot head screws strip very easily, we consider this an improvement. Bakelite Notes Bakelite is a great heat resistant material, but it can be a bit brittle. The most important thing is to not over tighten the screws when assembling the pan handle or you can crack the handle. These parts are not oven safe. Washing in a dishwasher may dull the finish over time. Installation Notes We have seen about 5 percent of handles where the screw holes are off just enough to make it very hard to get the nuts to go all the way through. The is just a natural variation in the original Revere manufacturing process. A slight widening of the holes on the metal spline will allow the handles to fit.
