Vigorous mid-early maturity variety (45-56 days) with long yielding period. Can be cultivated in greenhouses and open ground. Cylindrical, smooth, white-green squash, with weight 1.5-4 lbs. Tasty and unpretentious in the care.
Squash seeds can be planted directly outside 2-3 weeks after the last frost date, but into the soil with temperature at least 60°F as they are susceptible to frost and cold weather. Sow2-3 seeds about 1-inch deep and 2 to 3 feet apart in a traditional garden bed.
To start indoor sow the seeds 2-4 weeks before last frost in peat pots with the bottom removed to not disturb their taproot. Be gentle with roots once transplanting. The soil should be moist and well-drained, but not soggy. Work compost and organic matter before planting for a rich soil base. Planting site needs a lot of sun.
When the first blooms appear, apply a small amount of fertilizer as a side dress application.
Water deeply once a week, applying at least one inch of water. The soil needs to be moist at least 4 inches down. After harvest begins, fertilize occasionally for better grow.
