The Apocalypse Scorpion was developed by the Italian Pepper Lovers’ Association, AIASP, in 2010. Five years later the AIASP funded their seed-bank and studies by releasing the seeds to the public. This pepper rivals the heat of the Carolina Reaper and many people report that it is much hotter than the Carolina Reaper. The Apocalypse Scorpion chile plants grow over four feet tall and most of my plants are closer to six feet tall.
