While she's out picking up juice, cookies, a cake and party hats, she makes 5 new friends along the way-Orange Blossom, Angel Cake, Ginger Snap, Honey Pie Pony and Huckleberry Pie. In "Spring For Strawberry Shortcake," it's the first day of Spring in Strawberry land-or at least it's supposed to be. But with the cold winds blowing and frost still on the ground, it looks as though Spring isn't going to come this year. We come to find that Spring is a young girl who doesn't want to do her job. Strawberry convinces her that everyone needs Spring's help and shows her that working together can make any job fun!
