Vaccum Relief Valve for Solar Pool Heaters (1-1/2")

This vacuum relief valve (vacuum breaker) is designed specifically for solar pool heater applications. This VRV is typically installed using a rubber coupler hose and hose clamps. For solar pool panels 1.5" (1-1/2") I.D. header manifolds and 1.9" (1-7/8") I.D. rubber hose couplers. This is a ball spring (5#) type check valve that is typically installed at the highest point in a solar pool heating system; by allowing air to enter the pool solar panels, it aids in gravity drainage of solar pool collectors and piping. Internal components feature a VitonTM o-ring, glass-reinforced ball, and 5# stainless steel spring.
