Universal Oil Burner Electrode Setting Gauge Tool Beckett Carlin Wayne Aero

Here is how simple it is; Remove the draw / Ignitor / Electrode Assembly from the burner. Loosen the electrode Clamp. Place the Gauge over the end of the nozzle with the corresponding spray degree rating of the nozzle (45, 60, 70, 80, or 90*) in the upright position up against the nozzle face. See photo above. Adjust electrodes so they are seated as above. It may be necessary to slightly bend the electrodes. Tighten the electrode screw, make minor adjustments so the tool slides on and off with little resistance. That's it!
