As much as Rocky Marciano’s undefeated record of 49-0 is his most talked about feat, his true legacy really centers around the fact that he continually beat the odds and found a way to win. Physically, Marciano was a small heavyweight (185-190lbs,) his arms were “too short,” his legs were too thick and he was oftentimes described as “clumsy.” At just over 5’10”, Marciano wasn’t considered tall enough to be a heavyweight. Even starting his career at the late age of 24, he had everything going against him. And yet “The Rock”  defied the odds and will forever be considered one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time.
