Three T 12pcs Disc Brake Caliper Wind Back Tool Universal Compassion Piston Caliper for Car Truck Description: This tool performs two functions. It will force the piston straight back into the caliper as well as rotate the pistons back into the caliper on vehicles with self-adjusting parking brakes. Features: Use on Front or Rear Disc Brakes. Instructions for use: Jack up the car and support on axle stands. Then remove the relevant road wheel. Remove the caliper from its carrier and tale out the brake pads. Fit the main body of the wind back tool into the caliper, turn the main thrust bolt clockwise to compensate for the distance between the piston and caliper body. Select the correct adapter and fit it to the end of the main thrust bolt. Continue rotating the thrust bolt clockwise, until the pegs of the adaptor are centered and correctly located into the mating recesses in the piston. Turn the thrust bolt to wind the caliper piston back into housing. Fits the new brake pads and bolt the caliper back onto the carrier.
