Tomato ‘Yellow Pear’ – Solanum lycopersicum Abundant producer of juicy, small pear-shaped yellow tomatoes with a tangy taste. Produces all season long but must be picked as soon as fruit are ripe. SOW seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before planting out. Transplants should not be planted out until all danger of frost has passed. HARVEST when tomatoes have reached a lemon-yellow color. Underripe tomatoes can be ripened on the counter in a paper bag. Ready to pick 70 to 80 days after transplanting. TIPS This is an indeterminate tomato variety, meaning it grows with multiples vines and produces over a long season. Does best when provided with physical support and pruned to one or two vines.
