This cover is raised 1/8-Inch and is to used when you are installing one GFI device and one toggle switch. The ground fault interrupter(GFI) is an electrical wiring device that disconnects a circuit whenever it detects that the electric current is not balanced between the energized conductor and the return neutral conductor When installing an outlet box it is required by code to close the box with a cover, so that the wires are not exposed. This cover comes individually packaged with all the necessary screws for mounting.
