Since forming in 1998 at the Royal Academy of Music, the Pavão Quartet have enjoyed challenging preconceptions of the string quartet. Forging their own path, they aim to make chamber music more accessible. Highly regarded in classical concert venues across the world, the Pavão Quartet has an extensive classical repertoire. However, their versatility has led to collaborations with rock, pop and jazz artists such as Rod Stewart, Charlotte Church, Bryan Adams and Robbie Williams, and an ongoing relationship with the Henri Oguike Dance Company.
