The fine print under the title reads: Dream Lake is one of the most popular and photographed sites in Rocky Mountain National Park, located in Northern Colorado near Estes Park. This high alpine lake is on the Emerald Lake Trail and provides stunning views of Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain, with elevations of 12,713 and 12,324, respectively. Established on January 26, 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park encompasses 265,461 acres of federal land. The Continental Divide runs through the park, mainly north-south, resulting in rivers and streams on the western side of the divide flowing toward the Pacific Ocean and those on the eastern side flowing toward the Atlantic.
