Rain Bird’s RN Series Rotating Nozzles deliver gentle, visually appealing streams of water at approximately 60% less flow than conventional spray nozzles. Ideal for slopes and hillsides, the RN nozzle's highly-efficient water delivery reduces soil erosion and runoff, saving water and money. Water and nutrients penetrate the soil helping maintain a healthy landscape. Maintains highly-efficient performance throughout the 20 to 55 psi pressure range, with no misting or fogging at high pressures. Same precipitation rate and thread size as Rain Bird pop-up MPR spray nozzles or 5000/5000 plus rotary nozzles (allows for MPR pop-up nozzle conversion). Engineered to operate at lower pressure while still delivering precise even coverage; the perfect solution if you experience low water pressure. Rotary Nozzles allow more heads per zone, reducing overall system complexity and cost. The color-coded top cap helps quickly identify arc/pattern of nozzles. Stainless steel screw, concealed under cap, allows precise adjustment from 13' to 18’ distances to accommodate varying landscape needs. Matched precipitation rate across radii and pattern simplify the design process. Matched precipitation rate of 0.60 in/hr. with trajectory variable from 1° to 30°. Includes removable 200 mesh screen to protect nozzle against clogging. This 18RN nozzle sprays a quarter circle pattern; also available (sold separately) in: full (18RNF), and half (18RNH).
