Your lawn furniture will glide on the surface instead of scratching. These replacement patio chair feet caps fit inside a round steel weld cup with an inside diameter of 1-1/2". When measuring your chair’s weld cup, measure the "inside" diameter. A ridge circling the outside of the part will be shaved off installed, assuring a tight fit and securing the glide in the weld cup. ----------------- Installation Tips Use pliers to remove old cups. Clean all dirt and rust off the chair foot before installing the new cup. This will help make installing the cups easier and make them last longer. Insert one of the cups at an angle in the wrought iron chair foot and press the other side in. If necessary, soaking the glides in hot water helps to soften them up making installation easier.
