Pasilla Grapefruit Extract, Natural was developed for use in beverages. This extract has the characteristic earthy, slightly smokey and raisin-like notes characteristic of the dried chili with a Scoville level of 1,000 to 4,000 SHU. The chili notes have been complimented by a fresh grapefruit flavor. We recommend a starting use level of 0.20% to 0.50% depending on the application. At the typical use levels the extract will impart mild heat.
