Painted by hand, the owl receives several coats of lacquer, which Sompamitre prepares from the Gluta usitata tree and ashes of burnt rice paddy husks. - Clean with a dry cloth - Do not use abrasives About our Artist: Nantana Sompamitre learnt her craft from her husband. "We married when I was 23 years old. We realized that with his skill and mine, we could start our own workshop. He taught me and thanks to my crafting background, I learned quickly.
