Singer/guitarist Jessica Larrabee and partner drummer Andy LaPlant form the stripped down and atmospheric blues-rock duo She Keeps Bees, originally from Brooklyn. Their latest album Eight Houses, released in late 2014 through BB*Island was highly praised ("... the power of subtlety...In all, a fiery triumph" - MOJO, UK) and their accompanying tourdates left quite an impression. Now, while waiting for a new follow up for Eight Houses, we take that time to (re-)introduce to a raw rocking gem: NESTS their first album as a duo, recorded in 2008 at their Brooklyn appartement. And even better She Keeps Bees dive back into that soulful rawness live with a little tour of Europe in December 2016.
