Kiln toasted to a light Brown color. Similar to victory or biscuit malt, but generally comes across as deeper and more complex. Used to enhance Flavor and color in Amber or Dark ales. Use at rates up to 15 percent of total grist, or higher in extremely malty Dark recipes.
