For 99% of vehicles: MS309 Compact Pocket Reader supports all OBD2 protocols: KWP2000, ISO2000, ISO9141, J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM and CAN. This OBD2 code scanner is compatible with 99% of OBDII compliant vehicles, passenger cars or light trucks. For OBD2 cars, the US market is usually after 1996, the EU market is after 2006, and the Asian market is after 2009.
