To mark the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe records the complete Mendelssohn symphonies, including the Reformation Symphony (No. 5), under the baton of Yannick Nezet-Seguin, the Music Director of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Music Director Designate of the Met Opera. This release is the latest installment in Nezet-Seguin's collaboration with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe - a recent partnership that has already garnered two Grammy nominations.
