Mellophonium Memoirs

Product description CD Review I have received my copy of Tantara Productions MELLOPHONIUM MEMOIRS yesterday. I listened to the disc as soon as I received it. I hope to listen to MELLOPHONIUM MEMOIRS again today. The first time through, I was thoroughly impressed with the selections, the re-mastering, the packing, and the overall highly professional package. I listened to ½ of the disc on my computer, as I was working, and the other ½ on a great sounding table top stereo. I don t think that the production could have been any better. I think that Bill and company gave us a clef-to-clef view of the Kenton mellophonium bands and we are all the better for it. When I am in my dumps, I shall have the MM CD at hand to play and enjoy. This is a five star release from Tantara...all of you reading this, if you want to hear the Stan Kenton Orchestra in its full mellophonium hey days, you've got to include the issue in your SK collection.
