Host Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey is on location at the National Museum of the United States Air Force at historic Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio with a detour to hang out at the Marine Corps Air Station New River Air Show. First, Lee takes a tour of the museum and its historic aircraft (including everything from JFK's Air Force One to the F-22 Raptor) and educates viewers' butts on the history of Military Aircraft including spacecraft and intercontinental ballistic missiles; then, Lee reveals the fascinating story (and rare footage) of the highest bailout in history from an American aircraft (102,800 feet, 4.5 minutes of freefall); and then, the history of the Lockheed Starlifter, the Vietnam-era cargo plane made famous when one was designated "The Hanoi Taxi" - the plane that brought home American POWs imprisoned in the Hanoi Hilton; also the Gunny attends a reunion of the surviving POWs who flew on the Hanoi Taxi; then, Lee reveals the truth about UFOs and the Air Force's top secret Project Bluebook (hint: it's a load of crap!); also, the Gunny has the history of the most famous B-17 in the world, the Memphis Belle, and shows off the progress in her multi-million dollar restoration; and finally, the Gunny goes to the Marine Corps Air Station New River for a kick-ass Air Show and then Lee gets to take the controls for some real stick time in a vintage B-25 Mitchell Bomber.
