These spooled security drivers are a simple way to make locks difficult to pick or bump. They can be used in place of regular driver pins, but they won't work in locks using "T" type drivers, such as Schlage F series and most Yale Residential products. You can use either size in most locks, but the .160" are the size used in Kwikset, and the .180" are slightly longer, perfect for Schlage. Replacing driver pins requires knowing how to disassemble and rekey a lock, so they are intended for experienced lock servicers. Each pack contains 100 pins in two segments of 50 pins each.
