Jansal Valley zahtar, 2.4 ounce. This blend of herbs and spices is a favorite throughout the middle east and north Africa, with its distinctive, zesty herbal flavor. Ground sumac, thyme, oregano and sesame seeds all add their distinctive flavor to this exotic blend. Traditionally used with olive oil to create a spread for pitas and flatbread. Can also be used to flavor marinades, dressings, on chicken, lamb and vegetables.
