In the Shadow of Evil

The crime drama about an amnesiac police detective on the trail of a serial killer originally aired on CBS and also stars William H. Macy (Fargo, “Shameless”) and Timothy Busfield (“thirtysomething,” Field of Dreams). As he zeroes in on a serial killer known as “The Roper,” police detective Jack Brenner (Treat Williams) is seriously injured and develops amnesia. As Dr. Molly Nostrand (Margaret Colin) helps him regain his memory, “The Roper” is still out there, and Brenner can’t shake the feeling that the killer is closer to him than he had ever imagined.
