Modern styling to match your prime door This new storm door hardware set includes a sleek, modern lever handle, interior latch and keyed deadbolt. It is compatible with most pre-installed handles and is designed to match the styling used on many new prime entry doors. Lever handles are much easier to use than the basic push button handle that may have been pre-installed on your storm door. The interior latch features an easy opening push movement. The matching keyed deadlock lock provides additional security, so you can keep your main door open and enjoy the light and fresh air while still feeling safe (this is not a high security lock, but a secondary level of security). This set includes everything needed for an easy installation and will fit doors from 1” to 2-1/8” thick. Installation should take about 30 minutes. When replacing an existing handle, the screw posts for the handle must be 1-3/4” apart. For new installations, six holes are required to be drilled through the door for the screws and spindle. The lock can be installed above or below the handle, depending on your preference. The spindle for the deadlock may be cut for your particular installation. A tape measure, drill and screwdriver will be required. A center punch to mark the holes is helpful. Before drilling, ensure that the inside latch and lock do not interfere with the operation of your main door handle.
