Hollywood hasn t put out that much honest horror in some time." --Mike Watt, Film Threat "From the barrage of chops and blood to the "around every corner antics", thanks to a rock solid plot, and perfect direction by Marc Fratto, makes Hellfire one of the best films I've ever seen. This is a must see for any true self proclaimed horror fan." --Necrostein, Texas Terror Entertainment About the Director Marc Fratto started making Super 8 movies as a teenager, specializing in horror and stop-animation. He majored in television production, and also extensively studied film in Queens College in the early 90s, and began working for a well-known television business news station out of college. There he learned digital editing, and eventually found himself directing a daily news show. His film career started in 2001 when wrote and directed an unfinished short called "The Gift" which ultimately became the basis for his first feature length film, "Strange Things Happen At Sundown". After its completion, Strange Things was almost immediately picked up for North American distribution by Brain Damage Films, and beat out 4 other feature length films, as well as some 30 shorts to win the Audience Choice Award at the 2003 New York Horror Film Festival. Fratto, a classically trained piano player of 30 years, also co-scored the movie, and edited it as well.
