Our Review The Harneys, being of Irish blood, did not offer a Scottish tea until now. Our friends at the American Scottish Federation asked us to do two teas. Our first attempt was a strong tea. They said it was nice, but please make it a wee bit stronger. A portion of the sales goes to support the chartiable endeavors of the ASF. Dry Leaves A mixture of dark brown leaves, the smaller pieces of Assam and Ceylon and Assam CTC (cut, tear, curl) method make for a stronger tea. Liquor This is one of our darkest teas, brewing a very dark brown color. Many Scots would lighten it with milk. Aroma Aroma is not the point of this tea, so there are only hints of suggestions of malt. Caffeine Level Caffeinated Body This is the purpose of this tea, and it delivers a very full bodied tea.
