The Hanna Instruments HI 60501 industrial electrode holder secures pH and oxidation reduction potential (ORP) electrodes in vessels, tanks, plating baths, and other immersion installations. It is for use with Hanna Instruments 3/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded industrial electrodes (sold separately). The holder can be adjusted for immersion at a minimum depth of 10cm to a maximum depth of 70cm. It is made of PVC for corrosion resistance and has a Buna-nitrile O-ring that forms a seal with the electrode for secure installation. It withstands temperatures from -10 to +60 degrees C (23 to 140 degrees F).
An electrode, also called a sensor or probe, is an instrument used with a meter to test and measure parameters of a substance.
