In one of the walls of Doc and his dog's house there is a hole, behind which live the Fraggles, small furry creatures that inhabit 'Fraggle Rock' with other beings such as the Curris (small builders of salt-glass buildings) and the giant Goris. A crew of Fraggles (Gobo, Musi, Rosi, Dudo and Bombo), under the leadership of the 'all-knowing Garbage Heap', star in various adventures. Meanwhile, Uncle Matt explores "Outer Space" (our world) and sends postcards to his nephew about the "Silly Creatures" (human beings).
