This beautiful dwarf bush tomato plant is excellent for growing in the limited space of a deck, patio, or windowsill.
To start tomato seed, plant it in a starter pot filled with seed-starter potting mix ¼ inch deep. Soak seeds in room temp. water for 24 hours before planting. Keep the soil moist, but not soggy and never let it dry out. Keep the pot covered with a plastic lid or plastic wrap to prevent soil drying out. Keep the daytime temperature between 75°F and 80°F. Once sprouted, move the plants to a place with full sun. Once the plants are about 3 inches tall, transplant them into larger containers or a 6-inch pot. Water well. Check the soil by inserting your finger several inches into the soil. If the soil is dry, the tomato plants need watering, if not, check the soil again in two days. After transplanting to the final containers, add a high-phosphorus complete fertilizer for tomatoes. Apply a complete fertilizer every 2-3 weeks.
