Keep curious children safely inside with Prime-Line’s Child-Proof Keyed Sash Lock. When using this sash lock, windows can only be opened with the included key. The lock can be used on vertical single and double hung sliding windows, and on horizontal sliding windows. It can be installed on windows constructed of aluminum, wood and vinyl sash and frames. Installation is easy, and all screws are included. The sash lock features a 1” deep base, 5/8” deep keeper with 2” mounting hole center spacing on both the keeper and cam-action keyed locking latch. The key does not turn when inserted into the keyhole. When the key is inserted into the keyhole, the thumbturn and cam are released allowing it to be rotated open or rotated closed. To lock the device in the open or closed position, simply remove the key from the lock. Made of heavy-duty diecast zinc with a white enamel finish, this child-proof sash lock is strong, durable and made to last longer than the toddler years.
