Complete Music for Lute

This release features a 2-disc survey of J.S. Bach's music for lute, an instrument for which he composed relatively little. Recorded in 2012 by Mario D'Agosto, a lutenist of Italian origin, former student of lutenist Hopkinson Smith and a Professor of Lute at the Conservatory Niccolo Piccinni in Bari, Italy. Booklet for this release includes biographies of the composer and the artist as well as notes on the music.
