Paleontologists have unearthed several complete specimens of the Shunosaurus, which has enabled them to study and describe this sauropod in detail. Its name comes from the location where it was found by a group of students in China's Sichuan Province. The Shunosaurus measured between 31 and 36 feet in legnth, weigh up to 3.3 tons and ate plants.
