Contents: sturdy single-fold gameboard, four sturdy cardboard pawns with plastic stands, and spinning dial on illustrated cardboard insert. Game background: This vintage version of Milton Bradley's Chutes and Ladders was issued in 1979, five years before Hasbro acquired Milton Bradley and the rights to continue to manufacture its popular games; such as versions of this game. As is found in some other vintage games, the game's instructions are printed inside the box lid instead of separately. The bottom of the box is blank; without the printed instructions found in some earlier games and not yet containing game details as found in later games. This game version was produced with either 4 - 7 or 4 - 8 years as the suggested age range.
