The Speedy Feeder Teat & lid is made by Shoof International Ltd, in New Zealand, to fit the Speedy Feeder three-speed calf feeder bottle (available in 2lt or 4lt capacities). The benefit of Speedy Feeder is when you have a fast-drinking calf, simply switch the flow adjustment to 'Fast' and let the calf drink at its own pace. When you have a weak premature-born calf, needing careful feeding, switch to 'Stop' or 'Slow' and let it take milk as it can cope without drowning. The three speeds control the air inflow to the bottle, and thus the milk outflow. This enables the farmer to reduce time wasted on speedy drinkers and prevent drowning the weaker calves, all using the same bottle and teat. This feeder also features an intelligently-designed bottle with a multi-directional, easy-grip hand hold. The teat is mounted low in the cap to empty the bottle contents completely and to avoid wastage. The wide 70mm-diameter neck ensures easier filling and cleaning, and the coarse-thread cap is quick and easy to fit. The wide base gives the bottle maximum stability when standing.
