Borax flux is a versatile and cost effective flux and is suitable for use with all solders.
Use the included round 4" x 3/4" dish by pouring water in and tipping away the excess, then rub your borax cone in a circular motion with some downward pressure.
The rough surface of the dish will grind off a little of the borax and it will mix with the water in the dampened dish to a good paste consistency ready to be painted onto the joint with a flux brush prior to soldering, ensuring that your solder flows where it should.
