From Ron Shelton, the writer/director of Bull Durham, White Men Cant Jump, Cobb and Tin Cup Screen legend Paul Newman (The Hustler, Cool Hand Luke, The Verdict) scorches the screen in this hilarious, sexy comedy. Newman stars as a fiery, eccentric governor who falls head over heels in love with dazzling Blaze Starr (Lolita Davidovich, Play It to the Bone), an innocent New Orleans stripper with a heart of gold. Forced to choose between the office he holds and the woman he loves, he chooses both... igniting an outrageous scandal full of trouble, tenderness and sexy high-spirited fun. This critically acclaimed and offbeat love story features Richard Jenkins (Step Brothers) and Shelton regular Robert Wuhl (Good Morning, Vietnam).
