Awesome Whales For Kids DVD

Product Description This is not the average program about whales. We spent more than 11,000 hours recording every behavior of whales in one of the best places in the world to see whales. Awesome Whales For Kids is the most exciting, most unusual and certainly the most entertaining 67 minutes we encountered. Your children will feel like they are on the boat watching as: a baby whale plays with seaweed and a plastic bucket, a humpback whale lifts her 12,000 pound calf out of the water on her back, a humpback whale blows on people looking down at her, the humpback whale named Colt trumpets loudly when another whale swims over and puts its chin on his back, a humpback slams its tail (13 feet wide) on the water right beside the boat, other calves imitate their mother?s behaviors! Just when you think it can?t get more exciting; you?ll join us and share the experience of one of the most entertaining, amusing and unbelievable meetings of whales and humans. Stand at the railing as four humpback whales circle the boat and begin singing! You see the whales in what can only be described as a game of tag or at the very least, an attempt to always be closer to the boat than all the others. We knew the names of two of them: Colt and Stub. It was not surprising because Colt is well known for coming up to boats and getting as close as he can. It is very special to have a whale curious and close to the boat. It is a fantastic experience to also hear their excitement in being there too! Your children will want to see this one again and again! So will you! Brought to you by The Whale Video Company, the producers of Salt & Friends: Humpback Whales With Names. From the Contributor Look a whale in the eye, see it fly, it can stand on its head, or wave goodbye. If you didn?t know whales could do these things and much more, join us for the time of your life! Most children will never meet a whale face-to-face or be surprised by a 50-ton humpback flying in a graceful breach into the air or be told to "Watch out?that whale is going to breathe on you!" We captured all this and more while kids of all ages (and their families) were mesmerized by their antics. AWESOME Whales For Kids (67 min of whales having fun) was produced to share the pure joy of spending time with whales where they live.
