Aster-15 Rocketarium Flying Model Rocket Kit RK-1018

This military scale model rocket kit of Aster interceptor is two-stage and flies on D to E engines in the booster and B or C in the second stage. The Aster kit comes complete with laser-cut fins and rings, ejection baffle, plastic transition and nose cone and 15" pre-assembled plastic parachute kit. The highly-agile Aster was designed to intercept next-generation supersonic anti-ship missiles. The Aster missile family is generally flown in two-stage configuration. The Aster 15 and Aster 30 missiles are identical, other than the size of the booster. The booster size determines the missile's range. This semi-scale kit of the ground-to-air Aster missile represents the Aster-15 missile. Requires Assembly. Wood glue, hobby knife, sandpaper, masking tape, primer and paint needed to build this rocket. Launch system with 3/16" Launch rod, Launch Controller and Rocket Motors needed to launch this rocket. The following rocket motors can be used: D12-0 or E12-0 for booster and B6-4, B6-6, C6-5, C6-7 for the second stage. D12-0 with B6-6 are recommended for the first flight.
