The Washable Primary Sponge Filter should be washed at least every 30 days, and replaced once every 6-12 months. NOTE:make sure the filter is completely dry before reusing it in your vacuum!The Cartridge HEPA Filter, 303172002, or 303172001 is square shaped, and comes with the bracket already installed.
