Aji Amarillo Chile Powder

Aji Amarillo, also known as Aji escabeche is an orange thick walled chile native to South America and ubiquitous in Peruvian cuisine. The Aji Amarillo is a medium to medium-hot chile with a flavor that is rather unique, offering a lot of fruitiness along with it’s heat. This chile powder is made from grinding dried Aji Amarillo chiles and contains no additives or filers, It’s 100% Aji Amarillo chile, Nothing else. Please note that the color of the chile powder is darker than fresh Aji Amarillo chiles, this is due to the fact that chiles darken as they dry.
