Usually it is embeded inside the ceiling fixture. Pls pull off the existing PL lamp, reflector. Leave wire in junction box. and find the ballast. 3. Normally, the Ballast has a black and white wire on the input side (AC input side, 100V -120V for North America). It also has two red and two blue output wires. To bypass this ballast, please cut all the Input and output wires, so total 6 wires cut. 4. Then, you can connect the two red wires to the black wire. 5. Next, connect the two blue wires to the white wire. now ballast is bypassed.
