Red colour rubber disc valve is turning clockwise for tap on and, turning anti-clockwise for tap off. This valve with red rubber O ring is usually used on the right hand side.
Blue colour rubber disc valve is turning anti-clockwise for tap on and, turning clockwise for tap off. This valve with blue rubber O ring is usually used on the left hand side.
