If the total is under 22, they must add. If the total is over 22, they must subtract. The player then yells out the sum of the discard pile. That player draws a new card, displaying 1 and holding the other, thus ending their turn. The next players repeat these steps until a player reaches 22. Once a player reaches 22, they get all the cards from the discard pile. The game ends when the cards run out.
