Agate is a very common stone. It ranges in colours from white/grey, blue, yellow/red, and even black. It is a metamorphic rock, produced through volcanoes. This volcanic activity can be seen in agate's layers. It was abundantly used in ancient times for hardstone carving, and it is found at many archaeological sites. You will receive a pair(2 ends) of agate bookends. These are polished on two sides each for a high sheen.
