Zamouri Spices Zahtar is an aromatic herb and spice mixture used in the Middle East, especially Turkey, Jordan and North Africa. It is used on meats and vegetables, and is also mixed with olive oil to make a spread or dip. Zahtar has a unique zesty/herby flavor. This is an excellent spice blend for those on a Ketogenic or Paleo diet. We recommend marinating your favorite cut of meat in olive oil and a tablespoon of Zahtar. Refrigerate for two hours and cook as you normally would.
