Emergencies come unannounced and can strike anytime, anywhere. We can only prepare ourselves and our families to tackle some scenarios. There are many tools available for different usages but this mirror can help you send out signals when you believe you have been cut-off and need to make emergency personnel aware of your location. Emergency Signal Mirror 1.5" x 2" is lightweight and sturdy signal mirror with precision aiming system. Works even in overcast conditions. Will reflect sunlight, moonlight or other light sources.  SIGNALING SUGGESTIONS Treat the suggestions below as guidelines. We recommend you familiarize yourself and your friends/family on practical use of this mirror. We also recommend you watch some videos on the Internet to get an idea of real-world usage and with basic Morse codes used in emergency conditions. With increasing number and intensity of natural disasters, this can be very helpful for emergencies A - Stand facing the light source in the most open area with a clear view of the sky. Ideally try to find a spot that includes a view of the horizon too. B - To test, reflect light from the light source (sunlight or other light) onto your hand or other nearby surface to ensure that your hand or anything else is not obstructing the reflected light.  C - Slowly bring the mirror toward your eyc until the mirror touches your cheek. Look through the star in the center at the reflected light on your hand or other surface. A bright spot will show in the star. This is the alm indicator. D - Holding the mirror by its sides, close to your eye and looking through the aim indicator (the star in the middle of the mirror), slowly turn and angle the mirror until you "lock" the aim indicator directly on the object you wish to flash at, or indicate to. If no target is in sight, continually but slowly sweep the horizon until you find a point to flash the light to. E - Please ensure the reflective mirror is not scratched
