This is not your traditional yoga or pilates program! We’re using a fusion mix to combine some of the best elements of yoga, pilates and general fitness conditioning to build our total body stamina and strength. Your DVD includes three complete 30-minute classes:
#1: Pi-Yo Flow (33 Minutes): We’ll combine pilates and yoga into a low impact, non-stop, cardio-like flow. You won’t need any equipment for this routine (though a mat or towel is recommended for the floor work).
#2: Yoga Fusion Sculpt (34 Minutes): Let’s strengthZen! Today we will be working on building up our mind-body connection and staying in the present moment during this full body strengthening session that uses just a pair of lighter dumbbells (2-5 lbs are recommended, depending on level) and a mat to build balanced strength and control.
#:3 Pilates Fusion Sculpt (37 Minutes): This pilates-infused sculpt session provides a complete total body workout focused on helping you stay connected to your center. Moving from a strong core not only allows us to move our entire body more freely and with control, it also helps us navigate through our daily life in tune with our inner wisdom, strength, focus and balance. You'll need a set of light hand weights (2-5 lbs are recommended), and a mat for this sneaky (and sparkly) full body session.
And, we have also included a BONUS WORKOUT for you, Pilates Fusion Core Ball (30 Minutes): This moderate-intensity session works the entire body with an extra emphasis on the core. We'll work on activating and strengthening the deep core muscles, building balance and stability for your more intensive workouts (the use of a small, unweighted ball to add additional challenge is optional in this routine).
To work these into your weekly program, try the Yoga Fusion Sculpt on Day One, the Pi-Yo Flow on Day Two, Pilates Fusion Sculpt on Day Three, and then add a rest day or try the Pilates Fusion Core Ball.
