How to Iron on Patches Step by Step? 1.Your garment or fabric should be clean & freshly laundered before ironing. 2.Set your household iron to "COTTON", temperature adjusted to 150 degrees, and warm up for about five minutes. 3.Find the best position for the patch and thoroughly iron area of garment or fabric where your patch will be placed. 4.Place patch on garment or fabric, embroidery facing up. 5.Lay a thin towel or cloth over the patch and using a slow circular motion, press down firmly and keep a steady hand for about 30 seconds. 6.Turn garment or fabric inside out, and iron the back of the Iron-on patch for about 30 seconds. 7.Let it cool for one minute.
